Hello! I am a new member. I live in the part of Indiana that was affected by the floods a couple of weeks ago. We had some storm damage but are thankful that we still have our home. So many people lost everything :-(
I am the mother of a 4 year old with autism and for those of you who have a child with autism, you know how expensive treatments can be. I look forward to learning from you all and sharing some of my own tips.......
Here is one of my tips. If you are looking to save money at the grocery store, the best times to find good deals on perishable items are early morning (opening time) or later evening (after 8:00 p.m.). On the morning run, you will find items like meat that will be expiring that day. Most of the time the meat is 30-50% off and you can cook it that day or stick it in the freezer. In the evening, you will find baked goods and items like bagged salads that expire the next day. These items are usually 50-70% off.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Faith
