I fooled around on the porch all afternoon..........made a little red ombre hat.

Jeanette: I fooled around on line  trying to find some of the other colors of ILTY; no luck .

Guess I'll hop into bed & work on the sweater.............I'm just in a blah mood tonite!

Jolene - the sweater is just lovely!

Well, i just finished straightening out the skein of yarn that Piper tried to crochet with.  Instead of one skein, now I have 4 various sizes balls of yarn!  For future reference ladies, your puppies can not crochet - no matter how much they think they can!  Now, to see if I remember how to make that mitten.

    Hi Everyone

Jolene that sweater looks pretty perfect to me. It is gorgeous. It does look soft.

Kathy they had every solid color and they had lots of obmres. Those were the ones I came to first and kept thinking I was never going to find the boohoo or the candy corn but then I turned the corner and they were in the section with the solid colors. I bought a couple skeins of a pretty blue to try. Your yarn is in the mail to you.

Betty I have had the same problems with my puppies too. They would get into my yarn while I was at work and I would come home and it would be strung from one end of the house to the other. I would end of with several balls. I am sure your mitten will turn out fine.

Connie glad to hear from you again. Sounds like you are going to town working on Nathan's sweater. Can't wait to see it.

Well work is calling so better get to it. Have a good day everyone. Jeanette

Hi everyone!  Wow, it's been a long week!!!  I've worked at least 2 hours overtime each night.  I am so thankful this is a short week, and I have 3 days off!!!  Maybe I can get another new project started.  I hope you all have an awesome holiday weekend!

     Flag Wave&  Good Morning!

I packed up 4 sweaters for the babies; 2 of mine & 2 of DD's.  Mary will take a turn at mailing.......she's a good "share er"  Not much planned for this week-end...will get the sleeves on the toast & off white sweater.

Will be house sale setting up next week..............DS will turn 40 on Monday! Yikees! where has the time gone????????????????

Jeanette:  You will get some snail mail...............I would LOVE to see all the ombres!  DD used a real pretty  fuzzy ombre for her last sweater; cranberry, grey, dk. lavender ????????????    :O)

The Thrift Store got a donation of about 70 OLD workbasket magazines.....1970's & 80's .....alot of knitting patterns in them.      I didn't price them as I didn't know how to ..........just regular magazine price or group some together or maybe no-one would even buy them; let the boss decide.     I did get the June 08 issue of Crochet World/what a cutie baby & sweater set on the cover! [charged myself a quarter!]

Need to run the cleaner while SO is gone down the street to see what's up at his brothers!!

    Enjoy the Holiday Week-End!!!!!!!!!!!!!
