and this is some of the stuff on the back deck... i built the benches and planter covers...

and my tomatoes and marigolds... in the center of the little square planters is mini sunflowers... so i hope they turn out nicely... figured it would add such a nice splash of color to the deck

WOW! Cookie...GREAT JOB!! Did you make those tomato cages, too? Do you get a lot of hummers? Your neighbours are quite close, eh? How many acres do you have? Do they mind your pets? I love it!

 jp, yes i made the tomato cages... and trust me it is not as easy as the lady in the magazine made it out to be!!  i started out by myself and then it definately took two of us to do them.. but they are nice. :)  so far not a lot of hummers, i have one regular one... i think it might be a female judging by the colours...

we have 77 +/- acres here...

yes the neighbors are close, pain in my butts they are.  moved in, five daughters, i thought great! playmates, i got told that they moved out there so that their girls could learn to play by themselves. wth??  so their kids play and visit with my animals on their side of the fence but wont take the effort to walk around the pen and play with my kids too  ---- makes me pretty angry, and i cant wait for them to move    only nice thing about it, is that i have really affecianate (sp? it's early...) donkeys that call out to me whenever i go outside, like this morning at five am  ;)
