Was this the restaurant style sauce? I have the recipe, just have not made it yet.

It was!  I did it in the crockpot & added alittle of the olive oil but no butter.  It was great!

I believe it is this one.  I make this often.  I usually will add some meatballs or somthing to it, as my DH doesn't believe you can have spagetti without meat!

    Restaurant Style Spaaghetti Sauce

    1 teaspoon onion powder
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 Tablespoon olive oil
    1 Tablespoon butter
    1-6 oz. can tomato paste
    1-28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
1/2 of the 28 oz. can water
    1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon chicken or beef base
    1 teaspoon salt
    Black pepper to taste
    2 teaspoons dried basil
    ¼ cup Parmesan cheese

Combine all ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer about 1 hour until thickened.
    Serve over hot cooked pasta.

That spaghetti sauce was wonderful.  I thought my recipe that I make using fresh tomatoes was good but this one is so much better.  Thanks for sharing.

Yupper - that be the one! Thanks for posting it Char.

AK - I doubled the recipe, I did not use the butter and I used only one Tbsp of olive oil.  I used one can of crushed tomatoes and one can of tomato puree (my kids don't like chunks)  This was WAY too easy in the crockpot.  I also threw in some frozen meatballs.  Yum!
