    Yes, I know I am a btch.
I have been a btch all my life. I am good at it.
It takes very little effort on my part, and I am used to it. Applying the same reasoning to you, I cannot understand your offense at being called stupid.

Sorry folks just got on here. Here is my wife;s ever so popular recipe. Hope you enjoy it.

Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and you're in heaven. (A post from Foodguy)

    Dori’s Peach Cobbler*

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine

    4 cups sliced peaches

    1 cup sugar

    ½ teaspoon cinnamon

    ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

    1 cup flour

    1cup sugar

    1 Tablespoon baking powder

    1/8th teaspoon (pinch) salt

    1 cup milk

Preheat oven to 375. Place butter in 9x13 baking pan, and place in oven to melt while oven heats.

Combine peaches, sugar and spices in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

While peaches heat, stir together flour, sugar, and baking powder, salt and milk just to combine well and make a thin batter.

Remove pan with melted butter from oven. Pour batter evenly over butter. Do not stir.

Pour boiling peaches over batter. Do not stir.

Bake 35-40 minutes or until nicely browned.

May use fresh or frozen fruit.

I am not Foodguy but this sounds good. Thanks Foodguy and the Mrs.!

    Thanks Alliea.

That's pretty much the one I use that I got from Tink called Creeping Crust Cobbler and it is awesome. Everytime I make it, I end up with no clean spoons because of going back for "just one more bite" LOL. alaskafishergirl made it and had the same problem, said she'd end up weighing 700 lbs if she made this too often! One thing I do do different is I add almond and vanilla extract to the crust and wow lol!

Can this be made with canned peaches?  If so, do I just cut up the halves and measure for 4 cups?  TIA!
