    Rec: Crab Cakes

I perfected (for me anyway!) these last night. DH declared them the best he'd ever eaten, and he's a Gulf Coast boy by birth, so I guess he knows what he's talking about!

    1 lb crab claw meat

    1 egg

    1 tube Ritz crackers

    2 tbs mayonnaise

    Juice of 1/2 lemon

    1/2 tsp minced garlic

    Salt, pepper to taste

    Old Bay Seasoning to taste

Put everything in a food processor and mix well. Shape into patties and cook in skillet with just a little oil until brown on both sides.

For a sauce, we use an old family favorite.

    2 tbs mayonnaise

    1 tbs ketchup

    1/4 tsp horseradish sauce

    1 tbs Worcestershire sauce

    Old Bay seasoning to taste

Mix well and serve with seafood.
