Fall is in the air! See the pumpkin patch? Smell the cider? Feel the crispness in the air?

Yipee Autumn! We did it. We are first to put in our Thank you!!!!!!

I was absolutely thrilled to receive your package today!!!! What a bright spot. I was sitting on my porch knitting while Tyler played and Logan slept when here comes the post man with my package!!!!

I love the finger towels. Perfect for the fall season, which is my favorite!

When I saw the crotchet book with the prayer shawls in it. I thought Ohhhh my!!!!!! I will ware out this book!!!!!!! First what is your favorite color? I want to make one for you!!!!! Please tell me!

There are so many people I want to make one of these for. I could use these patterns for a year and not exhaust it!!!!!

not here, at least not yet.  It was 90 degrees yesterday.  I can picture fall in someplace like Vermont, though.  I love the photo I have seen everywhere of the covered bridge, all the brilliant trees, and a little church steeple in the background.  Do places like that still exist?

Wow, is my Secret Sister ever thinking of me.  In one week I received to 2 cards from her saying she was thinking of me!  The one I got today also can some very pretty notecards and envelopes inside of it.  Thank you so much.  I never seem to have any note cards handy so these will stay right on my desk.

Hoping you are having a wonderful fall season.  Are you ready for Halloween?  We get very few trick and treaters where we live now and I do miss them.  Now I have to eat all the candy myself!

The Blue Fairy STRIKES AGAIN!

You are always busy makin' packages for little ole me!  And the sweetest ones!

This was THE FLEUR DE LIS box!  My stars!  DD started to roll her eyes after the third or fourth squeal.  I just love the Fluer de Lis dish towel.  The Fluer de Lis cookie stamp is awesome!  My SS even made me some Fluer de Lis recipe cards!  She's talented that way!     I also received a Cook's Illustrated Fall Entertaining Magazine.  Can't wait to get some of those recipes cookin' in my kitchen. 

She even thought of Andre', my naked poodle (we had a fight with the shears).  He really loves those "Gourmet Treats".  The other dogs are jealous, Bob even turned her nose up at her Milk Bone this morning.

Good morning ((((((((Tink))))))))!  I got a nice bright and cheerful (envelope, it's too cute) package in the mail last night.  I need to find some of those envelopes.  Thank you about my uncle.  I worry about my aunt because they didn't have any children.  When I was little, I spent a lot of time with them.  She's a tough lady so I know she will be okay. 

Anytime I hear from you, I have a huge smile!  Thank you for the Gooseberry Patch Ready, Set, Eat Cookbook and the Micoplane Zester.  This is my second Gooseberry Patch cookbook and I can't wait to sit down and read it.  I love all the little tips and ideas as much as I do the recipes.  I've always wanted one of the zesters.  When my husband saw it, he asked was I going to clean my feet.  I just looked at him and then explained what it was.  He laughed and said that Al Bundy cleans his feet with one of those.  Al Bundy is my husband's hero by the way.  He has a lot to do today and is going to miss the Al Bundy marathon on TV.  I think it's funny!

I like clues!!  I haven't been paying attention to the postmarks but since you said something about it, I had to look.  Okay, the post mark is not where you live MOST of the time?  Is that where this post mark said it was from or the others?  I know you have a helper so I'm thinking you go on trips or a weekend get aways to this one post mark location?  What state do you live in??? 

Your other two clues:  We have a lot in common!!  I love the fall and love to cook!  If you lived close enough, I would share this cookbook with you!  What is your favorite fall meal?

It seems the mailman confused my address with one of my neighbors. BUT she delivered my beautiful postcard this afternoon, explaining that it came earlier this week and she didnt find time until now to bring it down. Better late than never I say........... :)

I think ladybugs are beautiful, how could I not with them being mostly Red. LOL Now with your comment about Ladybugs I am not postive but I do remember reading about someone decorating in that style BUT cant recall who it is. So I will file that "hint" away.

Dear Sunshine!!

Thank you so much for my birthday box!!  I am so very sorry for not getting this posted last night. The box was here when I got home yesterday evening,  As soon as we got home, my son needed me to take him to WalMart to pick out a birthday present for a friend of his who is having a party on Sunday. Well it took him forever. When we got home they were all starving for supper, which I had in the crock pot. After all that and getting the kids in bed, I was ready to come and post my thank you. Well, the little one wanted me to lay down with him, and I had had some cold medicine, so you know where this is going. It was 5 am when I woke up. DH said he tried to wake me up, but I didn't even here him. So, hope you will forgive me!!

Now on to my fabulous birthday box!  Sunshine had it packed up so pretty with blue and yellow and green paper. First I found a beautiful card and letter.  Sunshine made me the most adorable purse size tissue holder with the prettiest tissues inside. DH said---she made that? He was really impressed, as was I.  I need to get a picture and post it. It says Secret Sister on the front and is really cute, also she gave me 2 extra packs of tissues to put inside. It was all inside a pretty daisy bag.

I also receive some Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin body wash and hand soap  from Bath and Body Works The scent is perfect!! I have been wanting to get in there and check this out!  I love the seasonal scents.

I received a very nice bookmark with the books of the bible listed on it. I put it right in my bible so No one would run off with it!

Sunshine found me the most beautiful Angel!! I just love her. She looks like she is praying and is holding a little dove, and she is musical!! I haven't seen one like this. You wind up the bottom, and she plays "Beautiful Dreamer".  I just love her, and she is going right on my dresser where I can see her everyday!! 

Sunshine, thank you so much for all the Birthday gifts, and most especially for remembering on my birthday! You are just the best.

I want to thank my Secret Sister for the lovely box of fall items I received on Oct 1st & apologize that I have not been here to say THANKS before today! 

I love the items you sent.  The 2 pumpkins & the bag of fall decorations are sitting in a lovely bowl on our dining room table for all to see.  I also received pot holders & mathing kitchen towel perferct for the fall, a very cute windsock that is hanging out front, 5 wonderful cook books that I am anxious to try things from, a hanging decoration in the shape of a pumpkin that says Give Thanks & a bag of Combos Pizza/Cheese flavor that are wonderful.  The card with the kitties was so cute too.  Thanks so much for thinking about me. 

I have never done any canning so have no idea what all is involved but I do know it is a lot of work.  The weather has turned pretty chilly here but I prefer that over the hot & humid.  I love to snuggle down into my blankets so I have my windows open...it is getting to where I will be forced to close them soon.

Miss Chatter Frog....Now, please tell me, is there a hidden clue in that name??  And before I forget, I did get your email (from the moderator), thinking about me and my disappointing loss in football last weekend.  But, if you noticed, they made up for it today!!!  That always makes me happy. Now, let's see what happens tomorrow.  Can I be lucky enough to have two wins in a weekend?!  Well, it is my birthday weekend.

I couldn't have been more pleased with my birthday package today.  I have enough goodies for a couple of Tailgate Parties!  Now, if anyone wants to join me, I have a bag of Turtle's (a big favorite of mine), a bag of Caramel Apple Hershey's Kisses (what a great seasonal treat), A box of Turtle Cookie Bars (I can hardly wait to get them into my oven, my mouth and my tummy!!), and a box of Little Debbie football shaped brownies (SO COOL).  And if all that wasn't enough to keep me on a high for awhile, you also must realize that I spend a lot of time at WalMart, one of my favorite stores.  The gift card will be spent but I think I'll ask them for it back because I LOVE the football picture on it!  Oh, and before I forget...The Olay Body Wash Spa Exfoliating Ribbons will bring me back to feeling like a girl again after spending my hours with the guys on the football field.  I am so anxious to try it as I have a friend that says she loves it.  I can tell that you spent a lot of time thinking of things that will make me happy and it certainly has!  And I do appreciate you looking for the Nicholas Sparks book but now, I have a gift card to shop with and that will be on the top of the list.  You are the best!

Nancy.....I thought we were sisters????  Thanks so much for being so happy in our loss.  We can't help it if everyone on our team went to the NFL this year.  (Tim Tebow may have a Heisman, but Daren McFadden is making lots of $$$$$).
