I made this easy recipe today and they are so fudgy! They don't spread at all, so you can put them close together on the baking sheet. You might be able to bake them for only 8 minutes. I'm afraid they will be gone before bed time tonight. Lol! These are great if you can't eat wheat or eggs or dairy, heck, they are great even if you can

Wheat Free Fudge Drops
1 1/2 cups barley flour
1/2 cup oil
2/3 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp. instant espresso powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup sugar
7 Tbsp. water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray and preheat your oven to
350 degrees. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir until thoroughly mixed.The dough will be thick. Drop by tablespoons onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. The cookies do not spread.
Makes about 2 dozen 1" cookies.
