    I got this recipe from a friend years ago, and I've used it a lot since! So many of my friends enjoyed it that I've sent the recipe all over the country! I make it primarily for Thanksgiving, or for dinners when I'm serving ham.

    Tried this casserole for Thanksgiving and loved it...will be making it for Christmas too! (If your family loves sweet things, double the topping to make it extra sweet!)

    I make this every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas, it is my daughter's favorite. She calls every year about 2 weeks before the holiday to make sure I'm making it.

    I too have been making this dish for years. We just love it, and look forward to the holidays because it means this dish will be on the table. I would suggest anyone who likes candied yams to give this a try.
