Oh,no problem...it warms my heart to see you so happy!One thing that I can tell you about using recipes(one cookbook author to a future one)recipes are not copyrights,so you cannot be sued by using let's say your neighbors' apple pie recipe.You can get sued however,if they have a patent on it.For instance,if you used Red Lobster biscuits and called them that and didn't give them credit or get their permission,you can be sued.Also,if you tweak the recipe just a little bit,it's no longer their recipe,but your recipe.Also,don't use a lot from one publication.Then you may be infringing on a copyright.
I wrote mine through Morris Press Cookbooks,and three separate people told me the same thing.Plus,I've heard it through other sources.They were wonderful to work with.
