    Glazed Snap Peas

My husband and I loved these. I enjoyed the sweet flavor along with the smokey bacon. But what I really enjoyed the most was how quick and easy this was to prepare. The dish tastes like you spent a long time but it comes together so quickly and the fact that it was microwaved allowed me to use just one dish from start to table. I love that.

Unfortunately, the kids did not like this one at all. Even my veggie eaters turned their noses up at this one. They all took one bite and that was it. I was very disappointed.

So I have added this to my list of recipes to save for when hubby and I are empty nesters. I may try and sneak it in one more time though.

PS I did not know that the real bacon bits had to be refrigerated after opening until I went to use them on salads EWWW! So just a quick tip for others so that you don't make the same mistake as I did. I hate to throw food away!

Thanks for the review, Melissa. This sounds like something we would both like (picky kids grown and married and moved away - LOL).

Here's another link - just click on it: Glazed Snap Peas

Thanks for the tip about the bacon bits, too.

    Re: Glazed Snap Peas

Melissa, posting a live link is soooo easy. When you posted the link in your original message above, all you had to do was go back and highlight the link. As soon as you highlight it, the little icon in the bar just above that looks like a chain link appears. When you click on the link, a box appears and you just paste the same link into the box where it says "Link URL" then click "insert". It's done! You can also name your link anything you want, like I put the title of your recipe. Then when you highlight it and click on the link icon and the box comes up, just paste the link in the box.
