    Subscription

I'm trying to get a receipe from the Feb/March issue off the internet because I've misplaced my original copy. I had to log on which was no problem. Now I'm told I can't get receipes because I don't subscribe but I do subscribe. I subcsribe to Taste of home; Cooking for 2 which is no longer published, & now I get healthy cooking. What do I have to do to prove that I get these magazines? Thank you Jo York

How frustrating! I know in the past there have been issues with subscribers being able to log-in and see "subscriber only" areas. I would email the tech dept.

What is the recipe you are looking for?

I've had the same problem. I've called, e-mailed and written by snail mail. The only

responses I've gotten are threats to send my account to a collection agency.

I recently got a reminder that it's time to renew my subscription. I'll NOT be renewing!

Tonight when I attempted to login to get to the Plus content I got the message that my login was successful and yet I still could NOT get to the recipes!

    VERY frustrating!

I have had this problem also.  Didn't know who to contact.

    Hello,

First, if you ever need help with your magazine subscription, click the "Customer Care" link in the upper right corner of any page of the site.

Next, to get the site to recognize you as a magazine subscriber, please take the following easy steps...

    - Hover your mouse over the "Magazines" tab in the red navigation bar at the top of the page and choose "Taste of Home Plus" from the dropdown menu that appears.

    - Once on the Taste of Home Plus page, click the "Dipped Waffle Bowls" in the left column (this is on the June/July 2009 issue page). I'm pointing you to that one because I know it's for subscribers only.

    - Once you click that page, if you're not logged in as a subscriber you'll see a message that says something like "This recipe is only for susbscribers of our magazines". On the right side of that page is a box with "Subscribers Visiting For The First Time" and a red button that says "Subscriber First Time Log In." Click that red button and you'll go to a page that will help you find your Taste of Home subscriber account online.

    I hope this helps!

    Take care,
    Erik

I am having the same problem. Plus I have the added irritation of not receiving the magazine. I could buy the current issue in the grocery before I get it in the mail. I probably will not be renewing my subscriptions.

    Re: Subscription

Hopefully Erik's instructions work.  I too am asubscriber to several Reiman magazines and have never been able to open the subscriber only recipes.  I will say the instructions seem like an awful lot of trouble to go to.  Isn't there an easier way for the website to recognize subscribers.

follow up - I tried the Erik's instructions, but the "dipped waffle bowls" are no longer there.  Any other S.O. recipe I click only gives  a page with the option to subscribe.  No where is there an option to log in as a first time subscriber.  A while back I did contact Customer Care by e-mail and never got a response.

    Re: Subscription

I had that problem in the past too, and my son helped me resolve it.  My problem was I had changed email addresses since originally joining the web site, but never changed it on the web site.  I was getting all of the emails in my email box, because it recognized my address, but the web site didn't.  After my son put the right email address in I was able to get them.

But I don't get them now, because I let my subscription to Taste of Home expire.  I just can't stand the changes and new format of it anymore.  I still get Reminisce magazine though, but it doesn't have but 2 or 3 pages of recipes.
