    This recipe is in the 99 QC annual book. I had never made it before today. I don't even like dill pickles normally, but this was awesome. I halved all the ingredients because my roast was just shy of two pounds. Wow, good.

    I wonder if you could just use the pickle juice?  Seems like a waste of pickles, LOL.

    The one I make only takes the meat and the pickles.  Once the meat is tender I shred the meat and the pickles too.  I got the recipe from my uncle.  There were no other ingredients and I think it is delicious.
