Anyone interested in a Georgia Get Together?

How about Covington?  It is right on I-20, easily accessible.  It wouldn't be terribly far for those north of Atlanta - those in the Metro.  It really isn't a bad drive from Augusta either.

Covington works great for me. We could also go to Patrick's Feed & Seed -- great candy AND quilt fabric! I'm in heaven there!

It is fun! It is a real feed and seed store but they also sell homemade candies and old fashioned soft peppermint stick and jellies and quilt fabric! It's a dangerous place to go - dangerous for my budget and my waistline!

They don't seem to have a website :(   But trust me, it's worth going to if you are nearby.

If there are no objections, let's make Covington the meeting place. I don't know a thing about Covington, so perhaps someone that does can make a sugguestion for the restaurant.

How about a Saturday or Sunday in August? Will that work for you? I could just pick a date and place, but I'd rather get your input so that we have a good turnout. Give us your dates of availabilty.

The second Saturday in August would be the best for me.

I have a wedding shower on the 8th, I'm out of town the 1st and my ds's 14th birthday is the 3rd weekend.

Not sure I could make it in August, but I can try if it's the last 2 weekends.  Covington is about 2 hrs. away I think, maybe less.  I'm sure dh will not want me to go meet a bunch of "strangers"!  LOL!  Maybe I could take my sister with me or something.

Peachy, tell him we may be strange but we aren't strangers! Have him come along, then he will see we are a bunch of women not the least bit interested in kidnapping anyone.
