    This is what I do:

Copy the address (from your address bar) of the page you want to make a link to.

Come back to your reply box and paste the link in your reply.  When the link is clicked on, it will take you to that page.

There is another way to make a link which will open it in a new window but I haven't figured that out.

    Re: posting a link

I use Firefox and just pasting doesn't work for me either.

put url between [ and ] paste the address and then put /url between [ and ] at the end.

    [ url] http://www. pogo.com[ /url]  Take out the spaces

    http://www. pogo.com

Or you can make a line with just a word or a phrase by putting

    [ url=http://www. pogo.com]Pogo[ /url]  Take out the spaces

    Pogo

Copy the link from your address bar.  Paste it in the reply or new message box. An icon that looks like two links of chain will light up on the message box toolbar.  Highlight the entire link and click that icon.  You'll get a dialog box - with Firefox you have to paste the link AGAIN in the box.  Choose Open in Same Window or Open in New Window from the drop down box.
