 Marilyn-- Aleida increased the font size and changed its colour.  It is much easier to read.

Yup that is what I did -- read it on another thread and wanted to try it.  After you have finished a sentence or paragraph, left click the mouse and then hold down ctrl and 2 at the same time and voila, you learn something new every day

Hi Everyone,

          Oh Maria, no snow here, so unfair!, but then the kids hereabouts never had it, so I guess unless their parents can afford to travel to the ski fields, then they just don't miss something they have never even seen, whereas, I grew up in Scotland with lovely snowy winters and I still miss it after 44 years! I prefer this weather to the heat, that is for sure.

I checked my vegetable garden yesterday, as we have had the worst winds, everything is blowing over and my big back gates almost falling over! so jacked a huge rock against them for now! Today will not be much better, so maybe a quick trip to the stores, then I shall get back to knitting or baking?? we shall see.

 Marilyn, you mentioned Ada, I have not heard anything either, but I do know she will be 94 on July 14th, Crea gave me her new address, if anyone would like it, just PM me.

I gave up on my Facebook, last week I decided to cancel it, well, it is suspended, they say I can open it up again any time I want, but I found I was not using it and being on at different times to my friends in Canada, it was not practical for me, emailing is easiest.

I guess you will all be settled for the evening and I am just starting my day, so have a pleasant evening and I will catch you another day.

 good evening everyone   or i  will just say HOWDY FOLKS.....not being rude but its CALGARY STAMPEDE 2009 startung today and for 12 days its a YAHOO  here during this time we have the rodeo and the midwayand of course the FOOD ...........mini donuts.cotton candy ,corn on the cob fiddlesticks[ice cearm]  my favorite and alot that jenny criag would screamLOOK AT THE CALS IN THOSE by hey its just once a year hehe but i like it this is called the worlds graetest show on earth.just thought i would share  TO ALL THE USA POEPLE ON OUR BORAD I WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY 4TH OF JULY WHERE EVER YOU ARE AND A SAFE ONE TOO IN WHAT EVER YOU DO AND GO...................

we went quite a few times when we were younger and also took kids and then grand kids- Meme will not go this year- the city is so big to me now- brother lives there and he may go - his daughter usually works there taking all the big money re the rodeo part-
