pots and pans cleaning made easy

If you have any kind of cutlery, dishes or pot and pans that are a sticky and or a burnt on mess.  Try this.  Put a used fabric softener sheet in your sink with your dish soap and let soak.  You will be amazed how easy everything wipes out clean.

whatever is on dryer sheets I would nOT want on my pots and pans. It builds up on clothing and most oikely will do the same on your cookeare. It;'s not madeto use on things you cook with/in.

Instead, soak said item in some dishwasher crystals dissolved in water...magic I tell you!

I certainly wouldn't worry about wha'ts on the dryer sheets collecting on anything I would soak.  Besides they are used and you rinse your utensils/pans after washing anyway.  Sort of hard to collect on metal.  I am sure going to try it as I have baking pans with burned on grease spots.  We'll see if it really works???

My husband just made a batch of beef jerkey in the smoker... the bottom catch-pan is so stuck on with stuff that i swear I will never get it off.  I mean, it is REALLY bad. Your suggetion comes just in time, Iwill give this a try. I will let you know how it works. I am a bit skeptical, this stuff is Really STUCK ON!  Wish me luck!! The jerkey was great, though!

I've heard this tip before & tried it...didn't work for me...maybe you need a certain kind of cookware - or a certain kind of mess?  All I had the next morning was a sticky/burnt pot w/a wet fabric softener sheet...then I used 'elbow-grease' & got the pan clean.

The dryer sheet worked very well in cleaning the pan from under the smoker--I mean, this stuff was caked on 1/4-1/2" thick in some places (it caught al the drips from the jerkey as it dried). I soaked it overnight in the sink with dish soap and the dryer sheet, the next morning it cleaned right up! Thanks for turning a nesty, messy job into a quick fix!
