     Good Morning Ladies -

Pat, enjoy the weekend, and I'm sure everything will work out just fine for you - sending prayers and hugs that they do.

It's so nice here this morning - Last week it was so hot and humid and this week it was actually cold, but this morning, the sun is shining and it's just beautiful out.  Hope it stays this way for awile.

Dori, sounds like DD has had a wonderful trip.  Enjoy her company while you can. It will be time for her to leave before you knonw it.

Jeannie & Pat, try to stay cool - - Harder said than done, I know.

Roma, glad to hear the golf game has been "ON" this year - Keep up the good work!

Laura, I'm sure Hadyen misses you just as much as you miss him.

    IM, enjoy your time off.

Pip has the day off, so won't be here.

I'm sure the weekend will be very quite here, so I will just wish you all a Happy 4th now.

(((Pat)))  Hope the weekend relieves what is bothering you.

Dori - How sweet that your DD wants to see the "aunts and uncles."  I grew up with a large extended family of "adopted" aunts and uncles.  Enjoy the rest of her visit.

Jane - I am envious of your beautiful day.  We will have another one over 100 here.  I do NOT want to see my next utility bill!

Sean was acting kitchen manager last night, as the regular one went home sick.  They have a new dishwasher who is very slow and everyone was staying a couple hours late each night to help him get caught up so they could go home.  Sean firmly told him last night, as KM, that he expected the dishes to be done by the time the rest of fhe staff was finished cleaning the kitchen...and Sean was home by 10 instead of midnight!  He was very happy with his first night as a supervisor. :)

    Have a great day everyone!

    Hi Rosies!

OK, it is HOT here.  Supposed to be 95° today and up there for the weekend.  Then Monday is supposed to be only 72°.  Got my Hayden fix yesterday.  Took him a while to warm up to me.  I put him up on the couch for some cuddle time, and that's all it took.  He's "Grandma's boy" once again!  I was telling my boss that Hayden has kind of a funny/happy personality.  Everything he does (falling down, dropping something, eating, tooting, etc.) has a funny tint to it.  There's a little boy at daycare who always seems to be a gloomy Gus.  Hayden is just the opposite.

DH and I are off to Portland on an errand, then to MIL's.  He's going to mow her lawn before it gets too hot.

Dori, I had lots of "aunts" growing up.  One cousin was my Aunt Patsy.  My mom's best friend (who I referred to as my 2nd mom) was Aunt Jan.  I think it's a nice gesture to do that.

Pat, take it easy and here's hoping the stress dissapates.

Hugs to all.  Have a great Friday!~~~Laura

Some days, I can literally see the testosterone floating in the air around here.

    Re: The Rose Room~*Friday*~ Juy3rd

    Good afternoon everyone.

Kelly's Mission:  Today we are going after the ceilings, light fixtures and window sills in the Dining Room and Entrance Way.  Grab your feather duster or dust rag and get the window sills, the light fixtures, the dusties in the corners and the ceiling fan if you have one.  One babystep at a time.

Roma - Good for you with having a golf season to remember.  Maybe all the exercising you have been doing has helped with your golf game?

Pat - Hope the weekend helps and everything is OK.  Try to relax, enjoy and hope for the best.

Jane - Maybe you don't have anything planned for the long weekend but something will come up for you.

Dianae - Since he cut off 2 hours of work it sounds like no one has told the new dishwasher what they expect from him before.  Good for Sean for opening his mouth.  Keeping my fingers crossed that once the other KM gets back this DW will still be picking up the pace.

Looks like the verdict is in and lots of us were raised the same way with all the extra "Aunts & Uncles".  It's been fun visiting the past.  Wink

DD is out to lunch with her cousin and his DGF so the house is quiet again.  Have to get the car inspected and thought I could do it today.  Never thought about it being a holiday since it isn't the 4th yet so now I have to do it on Monday...

Better go switch the laundry.  Have a wonderful weekend.  Happy 4th of July!

    Hi Everyone!

Laura is right; it is beautiful today...nice and warm!

Boy, Jeanne, it sounds like you need a sun reprieve! That's sizzling and I bet the humidity is up too!  Rats and double rats! Hope you can cool off and enjoy the Fourth.  You're mission is coming up. Do you need anything?  I'll be glad to help out.

Have we heard anything from Maizey?  I sure hope everything is ok.

Dianae, that's really neat about Sean as it shows he has some excellent managerial skills. It's not easy to motivate the help, especially when you're filling in for someone. Sounds like he has their respect.  Good for him!

Jane you usually find something interesting to do.  Do you get an extended weekend?  I hope at least the bank is  closed for the whole day Saturday.

Pat...hope you're having a great time!  Whatever is causing stress I hope is resolved on Monday!

Dori, I guess we all have those special people who we loved as aunts and uncles.  My "Aunt Donna" was one of those and I have really wonderful memories of her.  She was the sister to my real aunt who I guess was actually an aunt-in-law....boy, it's gets complicated doesn't it? BUT, all those people impacted our lives and I think it's great that your dd wants to keep in touch. You know, I didn't relate the working out with improving the golf but you may have something there. Maybe the biceps give me more power, LOL!

Boy that Flylady!  I was sitting in Tom's den and just happened to look up and saw that some spider must've had his way with the light fixture. There were cobwebs every where and I have no idea how long they've been there.  Today I've got to tackle the louvers in the bathroom.

Has anyone read Bulls Island?  I'm about 3/4 through it and I really like it. If you see it at Costco, pick it up....paperback and a fun read!

    Later...
