Our niece got married tonight....

My wife and son just left for the wedding at reception.

I made the wedding cake that she picked out and my nephew and his wife picked it up and took it to the country club around 4 this afternoon.

I'm hoping that the sun stays out so that she can be married in the gardens as she has always dreamed. She said that and having Uncle Foodguy make her wedding cake are the two dreams she's had since she was a little girl.

She's a terrific girl and I wish her as many happy years as DW and I have had together (nearly 35).

NursePat....Thanks.........and no, it's real difficult for me to manuver my walker in crowds....it always slows people down and I've discovered that many folks are impatient... it makes me self conscious. DW has promised to bring lots of pictures to me.

Oh my - your cake looks just fabulous!!!  I'm sure she's very pleased - my aunt made my cake and it's still the most beautiful cake I've ever seen.  That's one more thing that made our wedding so memorable.  How wonderful that you could do it for the happy couple!

You need one of those speed scooter things and that way if people get impatient with you, you can run over their toes!!!!!!

This makes me very sad -- if the tables were turned, you would be the most patient person!
