Not going anywhere, but at least I don't have to get up and go to work either!
And DH DOES get his days off which means for the firts time in years and years he does not have to work ANY portion of July 4.
We've got stuff bought to grill and take to his mom's house...fireworks to explode...skeeter spray to spray and keep the little blood suckers off....cokes were on sale 4 for $12 and a fifth one free with in-store coupon so we stocked up on that. No really good meat sales and that was disappointing.
So me and dh will be very lazy and not answer the phone all next week since neither one of us has to work. Got two paychecks today. One for this week and one for next week (since I've been there over a year I get paid to not work next week). Best part of the job if you ask me.
***edited to add that with not a lot of cakes and stuff on order for tomorrow we'll have plenty of time to eat all the bbq that the boss has cooked for us to enjoy!
