My Hat is OFF to Sarah Palin

Motor-Mouth Palin was able to interrupt the constant Micheal Jackson drivel and I thank her for the short break.

Too bad she won't take a long break after July 26th!

Well, look at it this way:

her action today proves she is unpredictable so who knows, maybe she will take a break that never ends.

Could even be from the way she was breathing during her speech she may be in  training to be a marathon runner or to  play profeesional basketball.

    EDITED to add:

no matter what she will or will not do I am glad she gave us a break from MJ, nobody else was able to do it for more than 2 minutes.

There's a little "" OFF" button on the TV.  YOU actually are in control if you so choose.

You are so right! I didn't think of this, but I haven't had the TV on yet today.

Maybe she couldn't stand it to have a DEAD celebrity get so much publicity and not her...

We could also thank her for stepping down and letting someone who is probably more qualified take over.

Thank you very much for bringing my attention to the fact that some TVs have"OFF" buttons. I was not aware of the fact because my TV does not have one, it works with a remotecontrol only..

Only because most media refuses to talk anymore about the Washington Post and it's obvious support of President Obama and the use of it's "salons" to get people to speak with his staff. Funny how that story seems so unimportant to the media now.  Yet another diversionary tactic to get people to forget that President Obama has the undying support of the media.

My hat is off to her too, Grelo....but it was a silly little hat and I never cared much for it anyhow!

Yesterday on the very long thread most were speculating why she had resigned.   I suggested then that she was sick and tired of seeing only MJ on the TV and decided to change the subject!

I'd like to suggest that Gov. Palin resigned for the very reasons she cited:  so that the Lt. Gov. could get on with the work that needs to be done for Alaska.  I understand he is not as polarizing a figure as she is.
