    black forest cake recipe

In the last issue of healthy cooking there is a recipe that calls for 2 cups of cherry juice.  I have not been able to find any in our local stores and wonder if I could substitute something else.  Has anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks I will check it out.  I wonder if it might make it to tart but it is worth a try.

I don't think it would be any tarter than cherry juice blend....which I am thinking would be like Oceanspray juices...as they are calling it a "blend"....

When testing the recipe in the test kitchen we used Juicy Juice brand cherry juice; it's a 100% juice blend. You might also try Old Orchard Apple Wild Cherry juice, which is also 100% juice. A cranberry juice blend would also work well.
