New use for old bath towels

    I just got this in an email and think it's great.  Make a new bath mat with your old bath towels.

    It would even be nice to buy a few extra towels and have your towels match your mat or even as a gift as long as the towels are not too bad.

    This was a great idea, however, would it not shed? I don't think toweling is interlocked but maybe an old tee shirt might work. I like to wash my bathmats and I'm not sure that stiff backing would do well. These comments are not to say I'm not doing it. I want to try it. Thanks for posting it.
