    Freezing whoopie pies

Does anyone know if homemade whoopie pies freeze well, and how long they can be frozen and still be good?

    Thanks

Hi Kathy Sure you can, individually wrap them to make sure they stay fresh. My mom use to make them a week before my children came to visit. They always knew they were in her freezer. They would take them out when we got there, one at a time and leave them on the counter to thaw out. Good luck.

To answer your 'how long' question--the general rule for baked goods is that they start to lose quality after about 3 months.  I try to use stuff like that up in about 2, because sometimes, after that, even, they get a little iffy.
