    I would like to know if there is a subitute for sour cream and cream chesse in our recipes there is a cole slaw that calls for 1/2 cup of heavy cream and a 1/2 cup of sour cream that I would love to try but for the dairy.

    IT depends on where you live you may be able to go to a good healthfood store and get soy creamcheese. Instead of sour cream you could use plain yogurt.

    I have a friend who usus  firm  or medium firm tofu and blends it to use in place of cream cheese.

    Of course it qill not taste exactly like the real thing.
