Thanks everyone for the comments.  The sweater and hat are a size 2.  I'm adjusting needle size and kind of yarn for the other hats.  The yarn for those projects was Bernat Camouflage "Baby Camo".  The kids seem to like the camouflage.  It's interesting the 2 different ways it knit up, on the sweater it was a true ombre but on the hat it came out in stripes.  The cowl is one size fits all.  It was a bit snug for my taste so the next one I make will be on a bigger needle and I may add 2 stitches on each end.   But then if it is snug it will certainly keep cool air off your neck Stick out tongue

    Keep click clacking away.

Good afternoon. Thanks, Kathie for the info on the sites. Those are beautiful sites, gives one something to think about.

I've been helping sister-in-law watch the twins this morning. She comes on Tuesdays to watch them for DD and then SIL can run his errands while my DD has her nap after working.

Not much going on with me today except looking for recipes for our annual holiday party and trying to design an invitation. Will see you all later or tomorrow. Have a great day.  Pat

Hi Ladies!  Thanks for the prayers and wishes.  My hemoglobin is a little better, and will be having surgery in December.  Looks like more yarn time in the offing!  I'm still working on the 10-stitch afghan.  I really like the way it is turning out.  Will take some time, though, because the yarn is sort of fine.  I'll bet it would work up quick with a thicker yarn.

    Good Morning!Coffee

BOY! I'm glad all that Election stuff is over..........................

Working all the rest of the week, I guess.  HUGE Stone House/Bed & Breakfast with a barn re-done for weddings & parties.  Nice cement floor & large paper lantrens with clear mini lites & grapevine garlands all around.    We set up 30 tables & unpacked items & everything is set up to price.  Many many antique wooden chairs & some furniture pieces were brought in.................more today.  The person who is having the sale has hired a truck & people to bring all this stuff to this barn for the sale.  He lives just a mile from the barn but has been a compulsive collector of junk for years & has NO space at his home!   My boss said    "Stuff is junk"   she is not happy!   :(

Colder here & some traces of  s*** by Friday morning  :(

    Have a good one!

There are 3 different projects all separate; a sweater and a hat knit from the same yarn and the cowl scarf which just fits around the neck, on my model it goes farther down his body because he doesn't have much of a neck Stick out tongue There are four buttons on the scarf and when all are buttoned it fits snugly around my neck.  For "fashionistas"  *tee hee* only the top button is buttoned so it is used more as a decorative scarf.  I've been seeing several different scarfs all the same idea just different patterns, I'm looking at making one that's a bit lacey.

ugh.   Have had Jake home with me since Wednesday afternoon.   He was miserable at school, where they can't even give Robitusson without a dr's note.   He'll go back on Monday for a full day, Tuesday is early release and off Wednesday.

Have gotten some knitting done while he watches movies or naps.   Having a hard time with sizes on these snowman hats, the pattern seems a little off:

Also made 3 cupcake hats.  Would like to do one more with a pink base but was getting bored:

Seems like I've been knitting non stop, and only have 10 hats to add to my craft fair pile.  I've also got a scarf plus 2 Christmas tree hats that need to be embellished (star & ornaments).

and here comes Jake.   Will be back later to catch up with all the posts!

    HI Everyone

Jolene I absolutely love those cupcake hats. They are adorable. I sure hope Jake gets to feeling better.

Not much else going on here in Iowa. The weather is actually very nice so farmers are crazy with harvest.  Been working on Christmas dresses. Hope they turn out ok. Then on to a sweater for Jacob.

Well I had better get back to work. It is Friday though. YEAH!!!!!!!!. Have a good day everyone. Jeanette

Date day!  well, I think this week it will be more of "catch up on housework since Jake's been super clingy" day   :)   But I'll still get some time to knit, we've got 3 movies to watch over the weekend    :)   I 've got another snowman hat 99% done, he just needs button eyes and to have his nose sewn on.   HUGE.  It fits Jake and with a stretch it would probably fit me.

Just about wrapped up a "Ducky" hat, the pattern is here and the matching booties are adorable, so may make a pair.

I did my base hat in Caron Simply Soft Eco in Sundrop and the beak will be Red Heart Soft in Tangerine.     :)

I sure hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, need to get Jake's bag packed up and then unload the dw and get some laundy folded  :)
