    shelf life of "in a jar" cookie mix

    I just found two gift jars of cookie mix from last Christmas. Do you think they are still good?  One has oatmeal, raisins and chocolate chips and the other one is plain with cocoa.  Thanks for your advice.

    If it is the kind someone made and gave as a gift it most likely has not been sealed (processed like a canning jar would be). I would toss out the contents but save the jar.
