JMO! I tried a turkey breast once in the slowcooker. I threw it out. It was not evenly cooked and I was to concerned on getting sick from what was done and what wasn't even cooked yet. I LOVE Using a crockpot or slowcooker to make things in. BUT a turkey breast I will not do. JMO!

I just picked up a four pound breast - and will put it in the crock pot with one can of cranberry sauce and 1/2 envelope of dried onion soup mix.  I have made this in the past and it is wonderful.  The gravy is delicious.  It is different than turkey gravy but I recommend it very much.  I leave on low all day, and my crock pot is a vintage Rival.

I do what Janet does plus I add a cup of orange juice. I also like to use the whole cranberry sauce.

I 'massage" the turkey breast with evoo to which I have added a healthy amount of Mrs. Dash.  I place it on some cut up carrots, onions, and celery and put more vegetables on top.   I cook it until the pop up timer goes off or until it reaches165.  I turn the pot off and let it rest, covered.  The temp should rise into the safe zone for poultry as it rests about 30 minutes.  There will be about 2 - 3 cups of liquid even though you didn't add any liquid that makes a great gravy.  Use a fat seperator to remove the fat.  You can puree the veggies and use in the gravy for a great taste.

I've had good luck w/a 4 to 6 lb. turkey breast in the crock pot.  I add about 1/2 cup of broth, put some celery, onions & carrots on the bottom, a couple of bay leaves...sprinkle some seasoning over it & cook on low for about 6  hours...tender, moist & slices nicely.  You can add potatoes too but we prefer mashed with it.  Then I make gravy by thickening the juices.  I've never cooked a frozen breast in it...maybe that accounts for the uneven cooking?
