Be sure to check out my Facebook profile today.  I posted a link to my cousin's photos.  He posted a whole bunch of photos of his experience on Sunday of when he carried the Olympic torch.  I think the photos are well done.   And his comments on the photos make you almost feel like you were there.

Just want to share.  We're looking forward to seeing the Torch when it comes through Alberta in January - but my cousin is the first person that I know that's had the privilege to carry that Olympic flame.  So I hope you don't mind my bragging about it.

Well, I'm heading to bed early tonight.  See you in the morning.

Oh ... just in case you're not on Facebook and can't see the photos ... here's the link to my profile.

    Coffee  Good Morning Everyone!!!

Coffee  I was here with the coffee, read Hauke's post, and headed back to Facebook to look at the pictures of Hauke's cousin carrying the torch for the Olympic's!!!  I can sure understand why you feel so proud...you sure have every right to...What an honor for your cousin and family!! You can tell by the look on his face, you can see how proud he is to be carrying that torch too.....Thank you for sharing with us!! I want to go back and look at them again....

Coffee  Well, I still have that big pot of coffee ready for all of you...No muffins or goodies....I am swearing off the sweets....LOL

Coffee  The recipes for the Chicken Chili really sounded good and alot better than the recipe I made... I would love salsa in my soup....I know that....Carol, your recipe and Joyce's sound pretty darn good.  The one resturant in town makes really good chili...I love it...but it upsets my stomach for a week if I eat it...it is that spicy....I like making soups, but here of late, the recipes I tried were not all that great...LOL

Coffee  Well, today is starting the chores of changing sheets and cleaning...oh joy!!  Monday, I have homecare coming, so I will have her dust and do some extra's for me.  I have an appointment for my yearly check up and I will go shopping afterward...

Coffee  Wishing you ALL a GREAT Tuesday....Prayers to all in need, hugs to ALL!!

    Mary

    Good morning everyone.

I read Hauke message about her cousin and FaceBook.  Could get access to it.  So I sent her a message to be able to see her.

I will be very, very happy when this wedding is over.  wow what a couple of weeks this has been.  Saturday the guys came over and redid my roof.  What a job, so great to have them over. All it cost me was feed..and material.  Can 6 guy eat up a storm. I only had girls and though I had 5 brothers I don't remember much about their eating habits.

Rudy and I both have doctors appointments this week. I have company coming.  My DD and DGD are coming on Friday for the wedding. They live in Indianapolis Indiana.  Can't wait.

Today we have an insurance guy coming over about our coverage. I really don't need this, but will get it done.

Rehearsal dinner is on Thursday and I've been designated to set up the meal while they are all gone.  I'm am also the official baby sitter.

Hope to see you all soon. I will try to get on now and then.

    Good morning, everyone.

HAUKE, that sure was a good experience for your cousin. I will check out the pics later.

MARY, the spicy chili's can really bother your tummy. We make the red one and it isn't spicy. Around here my chili is like a soup. But, many of the restaurants serve the thicker chili and it's what I would call Chili con Carne. Have a good check-up and maybe you'll find more treasures like those placemats.

Oh, my, LORRAINE, you have been and will continue to be a busy lady. But, if all is running smoothly, that's a good thing. Enjoy the out-of-town company. And, having the roof done is a big relief. Well worth a hearty meal.

Home day for me and have to get many things done. The days following are busy ones.

Nancy – I'm glad you had an extra key to Laura's car.  That would have been horrible for her to run out of gas.  Yes, the timing on the cake and my walk was good yesterday.  Plus my house smelled good when I came back from my walk.  It sounds like we all have a busy week ahead of us.

Carol – Kroger had turkey breasts on sale last week so I bought one and have it in the freezer.  Poor little Lucas.  He's lucky he didn't break any facial bones.  I bet that really hurt.  I also bet you are thrilled they are coming for Thanksgiving.  What a beautiful picture.

Doris – No, my family isn't into decorations as much as I am.  They just laugh at me because of all the ones I buy.  But they do compliment me on how nice my house looks when I do have the decorations up.  I tell them when I die, somebody will inherit all of the decorations I have.

Hauke – Thank you for sharing the photos of your cousin.  I will look at them later when I get some time.

Mary – I don't like chili when it is so spicy you can't really taste it.

Lorraine – I'm glad they got the roof done.  It sounds like things are coming along well for the wedding.  I hope everything goes okay.  Have a great time with your DD and the little girls.

I did my full walk this morning.  It is another sunny, crisp day.
I need to vacuum the carpet today, get it ready for the carpet cleaners tomorrow.

    Hi Everyone!!

Hope you ALL enjoyed a good Tuesday.  I did.. I did alot of cleaning and laundry....how exciting...LOL  Sometime this week, I want to wash the living room curtains and put my new ones up...Tomorrow will be exercise for me...rain, snow, sleet or he?? freezing over...LOL

I went to the co-op and bought those placemats..I also bought some homemade napkin holders that are really nice.. Not sure who will be getting the placemats...have to see what my swap partner likes or doesn't like, but I would really love to send them to my Sister...I am hoping to buy more placemats later...They were very reasonably priced and she even included two cloth red napkins with it...LOL

Lorraine, sounds like you are quite a busy lady!  I am glad the roof is finished and I bet you are too.  I had alot of inside cleaning to do when our roof was put on the house...I am sure you are excited to see your DD and GK's!!  I hope you have a wonderful visit.   Glad things are falling into place with the wedding too.

Wishing you ALL a Good Restful Peaceful Evening!!

    Hugs,

    Mary
