I need Computer Help Please about posting here

    Oh I just cant take computer hiccups, too old for this LOL. When I used to hit reply a box would show up and right after that first box with some letters and symbols another box came on with the smileys, fonts, etc. and now the second one does not show up and I can't post the smileys and the entire post runs together even though I did not type it that way. This morning my anti virus said it had trouble updating and said I should do a system restore which I did. This is happening on another site as well? If you are computer literate and can help I do so appreciate it. I need to go hop in the shower right now but will check back shortly in hopes of an answer as to why? Thanks for any help. ~Jan~

    Hi Jan,

    Can you give me more details about your computer? Not sure I can help, but I'll try.

    • Type of computer (PC or Mac)
    • Operating system
    • Browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc)
    • Browser version
    • Internet connection

    All of those might help.

    If you've downloaded Google Chrome, it will do that.  If you have Safari browser, it will do that.  I ended up deleting Google Chrome.  Switching back to regular IE8.  Then my DH switched it to Safari as our defalt browser.  I switched it back to IE8, LOL.
