Hi Dolores -- yes you sound tired.  You poor dear.  Hope the sore throat is a figment of your imagination.  Relax, have a nice supper -- though certainly not time for that yet (always have to get my head around the hours difference)  and rest quietly.

Hello! DH didnt' got to work this morning, so I went for our ladies group with NO kids!  So he got to babysit the two little kids, that's good for him, plus of course Zack and Kaeli.  Kaeli is much better today, but still coughing.  But she has her school work here at home.

YF, Dan looks for indoor renovations for the winter.  Doesn't have to be renovations, finishing work is prefered.  He's done a basement rental suit last year, and possibly this year.  He's done several bathrooms, rip and tear jobs.  Also building furninture, Christmas gifts.  Last year he built a lovely display shelf for a gift for someone.  He also recently built a lovely entrance organizer, and a beautiful entertainment unit.  But really, he's a handy man, will do a bit of simple plumbing when doing a bathroom.  Just don't ask him to fix your vehicle!! LOL

Aleida, that's too funny about wanting a pumpkin with a face!

Take care Anica, I know you have a lot on your plate these days.  Dont' forget to take care of yourself.

YF, are you at all familiar with Epicure?  They have so many seasonings with no/low sodium.  Excellent stuff, and it's all from Victoria BC.  I'll be having an Epicure party in two weeks. (16th) their prices are good.  Their stuff is pure, none of this crappy fillers that you normally get.  I'll get you an email link.

CRAP Aleida!  I'm sure it's because you are gaining such muscle in the neck.  Or better yet....Time to go shopping for new ones!!!!!

Gramma, no mischeife today?  Hmmm, I'm scared you will get bored.  Please find somthing to occupy yourself with.  We want to keep you under control at all times!!

The Royal Throne is calling my name Hmm  So I must leave now!

Aleida, those bowls also have a handle. They look like giant measuring cups and, yes, they do have the markings ont hem. I use my pizza stone for lots of stuff, even bake cookies on them.

Char, just because I don't remind you about behaving doesn't mean you don't have to!

     Hooray Pat!!  What a relief!

Gramma, I just thought it was MY turn to do the reminding!

Well, sick kids here.  16 kids missing from school today.  Out of 80 kids, what percentage is that?  I smelled bleach the moment I walked into the door.  Obviously it's too late for anything other then to get over the whole sickness.  Good thing parents are keeping kids home.  I worry about the teachers, they are so exposed to it daily.

    Well 16 is 1/5 of 80 -- so 20% hehe

Poor kids -- hate when they are sick.

I am almost gone -- starts at 7 --don't like to be too early

Should give Luke the speech about how to behave, leave Boots alone, stay out of the garbage, leave the bedroom door closed, don't be barking at every moving thing etc, etc, etc.  LOL

I'll say good night when I return

    Re: Canadian Corner 11/04/09

Well I have been and home again.  I had a good time.  Women were all nice.  I did not buy a spoonola -- is that what it was called -- since I already had one.  And I also have large size measuring cups (although without lids) so I didn't buy those either.  But I thank both of you for your responses.  I did buy the timer, an egg separator for Tiffany and one for me -- getting lazy, the small spreader -- for decorating cakes -- it is the one that is off set -- bought it for Tiffany because I have one and really like it, the apple wedger for Tiffany so she can have a healthy snack for lunch, the turn-about for Tiffany since she has so little cupboard space in her dinky kitchen in her apartment.  Now she can put her most used utensils out and not being stuffing them in a drawer.  and the medium sheet pan for myself and one for Tiffany -- not stoneware but they are heavy.  I already have quite a bit of PC -- some I use and some almost never.  I'm not the only one who doesn't use it, 'cos I get some of it at garage sales LOL

The gifts for Tiffany are for Christmas -- smaller ones will go into her stocking.  I enjoy buying for Tiffany -- guess that is obvious

Tired now and going to bed.
