    Friday

Morning everyone.  I'm going to keep this short because I'm in alot of pain this morning.  I have a dry socket where they extracted the tooth last week.  Anyway, he gave me xtra strength Vicodin.  Didn't know they had that.  It helps with the pain, but makes me very tired.  Connor is coming home this weekend, 1st time in 3 weeks and Jim's DD is going to ME for the weekend.  Hope everyone has  a great weekend.  TTYL.

Kelly hope you feel better soon.

Kallee it has been since May that Jess has been dealing with this ear sinus issue. Our family Dr is pushing them really hard to get things approved and tod us that as soon as she get the word it will be scheduled very quickly so we are keeping our fingers crossed that it will be soon.

Not much going on here today. The weather is supposed to be great today and over the weekend so hoping to get some riding in then get the bikes cleaned up and tucked away for the winter.

Hope you all are having a blessed day.

Good Morning Everyone! I rose and shined very early this morning! But then again, I fell asleep at around 8:PM last night! Got a great nights sleep and felt great this morning.

I'm out the door this morning. I'm going to make that trip to Grand Rapids, about 50 miles away. I have to stop in at the clinic to have blood drawn for my RA meds. Then, if I'm up to it, I'll do a little shopping there. Grand Rapids, MN is the closest city where they have large stores like Walmart, Kmart and Target. The "big box" stores. I usually do my shopping close to home. I believe in spending our money where we live. But sometimes it's a real treat to go to Target.

Tomorrow is deer hunting opener here and I wonder just how many people will have the money to come up north here to hunt. Hope that they won't be too disappointed. Not many deer here, thanks to the wolves. I remember having a yard full of deer and shewing them away from the bird feeders. I've counted over 30 deer at one time. But I've barely seen any this year. Maybe one or two fawns, but not lately.

    My Quote for the day:

Sometimes we don't need another chance to express how we feel or to ask someone to understand our situation. Sometimes we just need a firm kick in the pants. An unsmiling expectation that if we mean all these wonderful things we talk about and sing about, then lets see something to prove it.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Good morning girls.  I don't have anything to do today.  Thank God because I was up until 2:15 AM because of those darned barking dogs!  I'd gone to bed early because I was falling asleep on  the couch then got back up again and that's when the fun started.  They were still barking at 3:00, after I'd gone back to bed.

I have a log that Animal Services gave me for documentation and I'm going to go up there and take it to them then take a copy to the apartment office.  I'd like to see those people gone!  Don't I have the right to some peace and quiet in my own home?  Those dogs don't belong in an upstairs apartment, if they have to live in an apartment at all.  They really should be in a place they can move around and play, etc. etc.  I mean, my apartment is only about 950 sq feet.  It's great for me, but to have 2 people and 2 large dogs in it I'd think they'd be pretty crowded.  I've been here for 4 12 years; they're been here barely 4 months, and if I hear "you've got to move" from the apartment office, then they can pay for my move, because I sure as heck ain't!  OK.  Vent over.

Kelly, I'm sorry you're so much pain.  So many people get dry sockets after having teeth pulled.  I'm glad he gave you some pretty strong meds so you can sleep through it.  The more you sleep the better off you'll be.

Leora, I hope your DD gets the surgery she needs.  Insurance companies can be so difficult to deal with.  Unfortunately, it's usually a nurse that reviews that (at least they do at BCBS) and determines whether surgery is warranted.  It's good that your doctor is on their case about it.

Did I tell you that Judy has a ruptured disc in her back?  Her doctor said it's really bad and cortisone shots won't help, and scheduled her for surgery.    It's being done next Wednesday.  I' told her I'd be there for her.  What's really strange is that 15 years ago on the 11 of November she also had surgery for a  slipped disc.  Do Do Do Do Do!  LOL

I have a cinnamon roll calling my name so I think I'll leave y'all to your own devices.  TTYL.

Well today DS and I will go to his parent teacher conference!  I know it will be good but meeting new people is very nerv racking for me.....  And we have to go around to all his teachers.  I didn't know that.  I would like to talk to his art teacher, to make sure they know that DS is colored blind, and I'm going to be infurated if he gets maked down for having a wrong color on something.  Every teacher that DS has had always says good things about, but why can't he act like he does in school, at home! lol  Just kidding.  He's a good kid but he's starting to get teenageritis.

Sunday My mom, the kids and I are going to see my brother and his family!  We have 4 birthdays coming up so every year we try to go up for a visit around the big group of birthdays!  One was yesturday (opps forgot to talk to him when I called shoot), one is the 18th, another on the 27th and finally one on the 1st of Dec.

Looks like I'll be planting my starters that I trimmed of my plants a while ago!  Look good, and the roots are astablished enough to be planted!  But were to put them!  Should I put them in the same pot I trimmed them out of or should i mix them with a different plant?  ummm

I'm going to make DS and DD pick up their room!  It's a wreck!  I need to make DS dust the entertainment center off too.

Well I guess it's time for me to get moving!

Hope you all have a fantastic day!

    Re: Friday

Great day here today.  J putting new windows in the living room.  Glad he is so handy and can do stuff like this.  I tried to get my son to come over and help and he was willing to but has to work today and tomorrow.  He did agree that it would have been good for him to see how it was done. Becuase of his reading disability he likes to see how things are done and is a quick study.

I am washing the living room curtains while J is getting the windows put in.  Nice enough here to hang them out to dry.

Rockford (dog) and I had a nice walk this morning.

    Have a great day

    howdy-

bc1958, great minds think alike- I just washed my kitchen curtians- try to do the little things before folks come for Thanksgiving.

Kelly- what a bummer.  Hope you are able to enjoy your DS visit this weekend.  Has he met Jim's DD?

Leora- doesn't it just make you so mad when you pay good money for insurance, and you get put off.  It is really cruel for them to expect her to wait in pain this long.

Meridith- I would be fuming- are the people not home when the dogs bark?  I would be tempted to get a "silent" dog whistle to set them off when the owners are sleeping. (naughty of me)

Jenn- please tell us some of the compliments your DS gets- he does sound like a great kid.

It is nice outside today- and I am triming shrubs etc....  the day seems to fly by without me getting all the things done that I plan.  DH did take be to a nice Mexican buffet for lunch- I should be full all day.
