I make homemade spaghetti sauce and put the noodles down first, then a layer of sauce, then the dollops of cream cheese, then I sprinkle the shredded. I have family beg me to make this! It's wonderful

Re: Cheesy Sausage Penne

how would it taste if the sausage was Italian-spiced turkey sausage, and you got low-fat/fat-free sour cream and cream cheese? I'll bet, all in all, you can't tell it's a little healthier.

Re: Cheesy Sausage Penne

no wonder it's so popular, look at the calories in just a 1 cup serving, and the amount of fat and sodium. It looks heavy. I can't believe this has all that sour cream and cream cheese too! This is what my great grandmother would have made, but then she shoveled coal every day of her life.

Re: Cheesy Sausage Penne

I love this recipe.
