That I know to, Tupperware never sold this piece in the USA so when I went to visit my cousin in England in the early 1980s, I ordered a dozen of the spatulas there and she shipped them home to me...they are an awful burnt orange color but still wonderful :)

Re: What is your oldest piece of Tupperware?

My oldest is my red lunchbox. Well over 50 years old.LOL It is currently recycled to my sewing room for filled bobbins. I would love to find another one but they only had this for a short time. I also have a couple of the ice tea tumblers and ice tea spoons that stay in the camping equipment along with the large and small salt and pepper shakers.

The most used are my big yellow and green bowls. These come out for all family gatherings and picnics. My name is Beverly and I live in Illinois with my husband and son. I am new to this forum so I hope you all do not mind me jumping into your conversation.

I have a big green Tupperware bowl with a white lid. It was my grandmothers and she used it every time we had a family gathering. She would bring a double or triple batch of glazed fruit salad or some other kind of salad in it. As far back as I can remember she had that bowl so I know it is old but I am not sure how old. I also have some white plastic popsicle trays with the little individual popsicle containers with the lids that have built- in plastic popsicle sticks. I remember using those popsicle trays when I was in grade school.I used to make koolaide or fruit juice popsicles. I also remember anxiously waiting for the popsicles to freeze and then being so proud that I made popsicles all by myself. I do not remember my mom buying us popsicles. I think we always made our own. Oh, I can not forget the brown Tupperware salt and pepper shakers, green celery keeper, and tan vegetable tray that were passed down from Grandma, too.

My mom just found me a Tupperware canister set last weekend that looks like new at a rummage sale. She already has a set so she is giving it to me. I was very excited when she told me what she found. Even though I already have a set of nice canisters, I know the tupperware ones are better. My mom has all of the rest of my grandma's tupperware and an old collection of her own that she still uses all the time. It is amazing how long Tupperware lasts.

I am sorry for being so long winded. This discussion has made me feel nostalgic.

Re: What is your oldest piece of Tupperware?

we recently just got all new tupper ware...my but i think the oldest one we use to have was a green plastic thing...lol i forgot what it was called...but we put our greens in it...but now we have the new one of that...its blue and its long

Re: What is your oldest piece of Tupperware?

I have the same collander and love it!!!

Re: What is your oldest piece of Tupperware?

One of the canisters from the set of four we received as a wedding gift in 1954!

I never saw such a thing! I finally threw away the plastic bottlecaps that I got as a Tupperware prize. They had the ring attached and you would put the ring over your bottle of soda or beer and cap the top, so the cap was secure and not pop off and get lost. I got those in the '80's and never used them. Remember the Modular sets? I still use two of them for oreos and homemade cookies. Still using the lettuce keeper.
