The weekend of the 13th, we (J and I) went to Trothmoot. It's a annual heathen gathering. While there, I met a number of people including Diana Paxson. I didn't get to speak to her a lot, just a bit here and there, mostly at Denny's the last day of Trothmoot. I knew that Diana is an author, but didn't realize (until watching something on youtube) that I've actually read some of her fiction. A couple of years ago, I read White Raven, which is a retelling of the Tristen and Isolde story. That be the one that I've read.

DUH!! LOL I really need to bang my head on the desk, but there's no room for it.

She's also worked on the Mysts of Avalon series, which I think is a bit more recognizable to most people.

And to think, I could have actually told her that her book, White Raven, is one of the very few books that I've actually kept. Guess I'll either have to do it through email or wait for next year.
