The picture is real cute! Like others have stated,I really doubt that lil guy got into the house and up on that couch all by itself.

Around here,Beagles are about all anyone uses for deer hunting,up until a couple of years ago when they banned hunting with dogs in our county(which I'm glad!)

Just about any other time someone else post just about ANYTHING on here that was from an email,and they didn't check it out on snopes first,they get bashed and talked just down right hateful to....I'm just saying...

I was thinking the same thing. Dogs and cats seek elevated positions because of their predatory nature. Dont think a deer would do that. I call B.S. on the background story.

You're right. Fawns stay close to the ground, often stretching out so their spotted body will blend in with the natural surroundings. It's also doubtful a fawn that young could navigate a puppy door or jumping up on a couch.

Either someone stole the little creature outright, or claimed it was 'abandoned' - i.e. the mother was murdered by a car or some other human weapon.

The fawn should never have been allowed in the house ... unhealthy for the animal and occupants of the house.

Some will do anything for a moment of internet fame

Gees that's so cute and it hasn't gotten passed me that a beagle is supposed to be a hunting dog.

Beagles generally hunt rabbits,sometimes ducks and geese.
