not this girl! it's all I can do to get on an escalator, and i can see 'floor' there... walking over (or driving over) a bridge scares me silly! different people have different fears...

No way! I have problems in glass elevators -- cannot look out so I don't think I would waste my $$.

Although I said that I would love to take that walk, I would not pay $15 to do so. I can stand on a cliff any time I like, for free.

I have walked on the Sky Way over the Grand Canyon. Thought it was great.

My wife told me about that last night. The CN tower in Toronto has a glass floor, so it's a similar concept. We did that several years back... it's a little creepy, but at least you're inside! When she explained this Sears Tower platform to me, I thought she meant it was outside like the walkway out over the Grand Canyon. Imagine if the wind were blowing you around atop the Sears Tower! (Silly me.)

If I ever go up there, I'd do it... but I'm not going to plan a special trip to see it. Too many other things to do in that city!

WGN last night reported the cost to be $14.95 for Adults & $12.95 for kids. To me it is a waste of $$$$. Sure hope us taxpayers didn't have to cough up for this....Maybe the new Company that bought the Sears Tower foot the bill of the Millions!!

My first thought was hum 12 below zero 60 mile an hour wind,heat glass cracking and away we go. This was man made and they aint makin them like they use too,,,,No Thank You. Heck I'd get dizzy trying to set in a balcony at a movie theater.
