Tornado WARNING just issued for Ballard and Carlisle counties--just to the east of us. Pray for all in its path--so many picnicing and on the water who may not know!

That is sad that a DD would do a Mom that way. :( I don't think SIL's DD will be that way--she's so very good to her. She told me she had been waiting for her Mom to realize that she needed help, she didn't want to force her. SIL has so very little that just the smallest boo-boo in math, really hurts her--and that's where she is now. :( In the past, we've helped her, but this amount that she lost is pretty big--but still we will help all we can.

Now we have thunderstorms on the way so I better not stay on. Praying for all!

mary made a comment to mom a few weeks ago about why doesn't your daughter ever say anything to you about what you spend? i laughed and answered mom and said I know better. it's her money, i really don't care what she does with it. i think it's sad though when this daughter was telling her mom she was spending too much at the grocery store because after all mom, when you go, you need to be leaving this to us. that's way out of line. i'm not saying everyone does it and i know they don't. but it's sad.

I don't think I could handle chicken sausage. I like my brats. I got mine from the local Italian market where they make their own.

Treasa, John's sister controls their Mom's finances, and I think she's too controlling. OK, I know John's Mom would probably go on the riverboats and gamble it away, but there has to be a happy medium. She IS a grownup, and is being treated like a child. And John's sister tells John's mom what she can and can't buy. We always give her gift cards to grocery stores so she can get what she wants, and we sneak "forbidden" food to her.

just read the requests and will be praying for everyone. chris, try some hot tea and honey, it helps with cough and congestion. hate to say this jg, but if i found a mouse pooh, i'd be out of there. i'm petrified of mice. on a lighter note, if you like brats, i've been buying these like brats but they're made of chicken, the only place i can find them is walmart and one is parmesan another is habanera and monterey cheese and they're only 3 points and really good. i love them. i found some others at one of our other stores but now can't find them. please pray for a lady at my mom's apt. building. her daughter took over her finances and she's been really grumping at her mom for spending too much on groceries and such. now mary makes sure her bills are paid before she spends anything but to me, this almost waivers in elder abuse. thanks, treasa

Not doing much today, just hanging out at home, trying to get some of 'those' projects done. DH and one DS aren't doing anything special today,so they are helping! Yay!

Happy Fourth of July to you all. I won't be doing much because I just don't feel good. It's been seven days now and feel just as bad as I did in the beginning.

Deb, I LOVE brats!! I got my fill of homemade WI brats while I was back there. Johnsonville comes up with a doggone good one, but those homemade ones are the best.

Am praying for all the requests.

Tut, tut...looks like rain...Tessa and Dorian are bringing my van back, and then we'll cook out brats and hot dogs. I got the fixin's for Dorian's favorite chili cheese dogs. I'm hoping for a quiet boring evening.

Connie, have fun at the cottage this week!
