&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Jill&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description></item><item><title>"Shortcut" Rosie's Southern Apple Crumble</title><link>http://community.tasteofhome.com/forums/thread/6202060.aspx</link><pubDate>Fri, 03 Jul 2009 19:37:27 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">4f9c320f-4976-407b-aaa6-a20a3bf3b498:6202060</guid><dc:creator>flkcmom</dc:creator><slash:comments>0</slash:comments><comments>http://community.tasteofhome.com/forums/thread/6202060.aspx</comments><wfw:commentRss>http://community.tasteofhome.com/forums/commentrss.aspx?SectionID=30&amp;PostID=6202060</wfw:commentRss><description>&lt;p&gt;When I read&amp;nbsp;Janie&amp;#39;s&amp;nbsp;review of Rosie&amp;#39;s&amp;nbsp;recipe I had every intention of making the apple filling per Rosie&amp;#39;s recipe...but...then I got lazy.&amp;nbsp; The Betty Crocker Oatmeal Cookie Mix used as a topping was too much to resist trying.&amp;nbsp; So..I bought a container of Country Crock Cinnamon Apples - put them in an 8 x 8 glass casserole - made 1/2 of Rosie&amp;#39;s topping recipe ( 1 1/2 c. cookie mix (about half the package), 1/2 stick melted butter and 1/4 c. finely chopped pecans) and sprinkled it on top of the apples.&amp;nbsp; Baked at 350º for about 25 minutes and oh boy was it good!&amp;nbsp; We had already eaten our Edy&amp;#39;s Slow Churned vanilla ice cream&amp;nbsp;for the week but I did have some cool whip to top it with warm from the oven.&amp;nbsp; Yum!&amp;nbsp; This topping is a must try.&amp;nbsp; Sweet and crunchy.&amp;nbsp; No disrespect to Rosie for this shortcut to her Southern Apple Crumble!&lt;/p&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
