I would like to first say I am so sorry for not posting this sooner but I have had a house full of company staying with me for a few day that came to town for a surprise 65 birthday party we had for my mother today. I also have had a terrible cold for 3 weeks now and tons of school work to do for midterms last week at school...

But that is no excuse for me to not have posted a thank you to my secret sister Lizzy.

Lizzy, thank you so much for thinking of me and sending me a wonderful halloween card. I am so sorry I did not post sooner.

A weekend full of yard work turned into a much nicer weekend because my secret sister sent me a wonderful welcome FALL SURPRISE!! The stuffed turkey decoration is just adorable, and the dishtowels are adorable! Thank you so much for thinking of me!

I got your card yesterday. How do you know this things about me. Family only facts??????? AM say Hi back and she is safely at her destination. we are now able to stay in one place until after the swap!

Steve and I are well, he is going to see his surgeon about when they can do the perm. implant, tomorrow is not soon enough for him.

I have been so busy with work. I have onestore up and running...... I actually was amazed it went so well. Two locations to buildand stock this week, 2 the week after and then 1 the next week. I will be so happy when they are all done.

Once again I can not wait to see who you are as I know who you can not be, as I know who family has and what family is no active this time. You are sooooooo good.

Guess what I got today (or was it yesterday?) . . . I got more puzzle pieces!! Okay, it's about killing me now . . . I'm thinking next time DH and I get a quiet evening, instead of kicking back and watching a movie . . . maybe we should work on puzzle pieces! But this time . . . I'm going to glue together what pieces I DO get together!

Also, thank you for the magnet. I love the poem on it . . . and it promptly made it to my refrigerator!!

Dear sister "Magnolia"!

I am feeling so good today because of you! I was cleaning our family room, getting ready to get the shampooer (is that a word?!?!) out to do the carpet so was not having the best of days. I saw our mail lady come and there was a package from you. What a treat! Since you sent me a whole bag of good ole Hershey's chocolate bars you have saved me from stealing from my kids Halloween haul! The Pillsbury Halloween cookbooklet is great! Such cute and yummy looking things to try. The fall flag will go right out today to replace the kitty one that you sent me back in the summer. Also, thank you SO MUCH for the anniversary card and the gift card to Applebee's. Oh my gosh I cannot wait to go, I love that place! As you know, our actual anniversary is always spent trick-or-treating with the kids so we will probably go out next weekend. We have been married for 21 years now! Whew...how did that many years go by already! I must have been a baby when we got married...does 22 count as a baby?! LOL!! Again, thank you so much for everything. Hello Crafty 4 You. Happy Halloween! I got your package yesterday but I got home late from the ballgame and I was exhausted. Please forgive me for being late with my thank you.

I got the coolest cookbooklet with halloween recipes in it! There are several of these that look so fun and I can't wait to try them out! I also got the prettiest Halloween card that you made. It's solid black (along with the envelope. On the front is a spider web and spider. It says "Some days you're the spider....Some days you're the bug!" LOL. You did another awesome job on this card. Also with the cookbooklet and card was a cute necklace with what looks like a scrabble tile. It has a spider on it as well! It is soooooo cute! You are definitely living up to your name, Crafty!

Thank you again! You have been a wonderful SS. I have enjoyed every minute!

You did much better than me with Halloween cards, I forgot to send any to my llittle grandsons! Did get them a special treat though, so that probably makes up for not getting a card. They would much prefer the treat anyway!lol

CUTE jackolanterns place mats... we are going to use them here in a couple of minutes for dinne!

Darling little jackolantern tote bag with 3 orange and black dish towels! Really neat.. love it...

It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown DVD - I am going to watch it tonight after dinner. I have never seen it!!!

A candy filled ceramic hand sidh.. bone and skull shaped candies... ;0

and last but NOT least... NUM Ghirardelli peanut butter filled chocolates and caramel filled chocolates...

Anda bag of treat bags - I will use these with the grands!!!

Hey Sis~c'mere!

I got your beautiful card today. Thank you for your care and concern for us. We are doing fine~well, today I was on the warpath with the ol hippie but we are doing just fine. I always look forward to the holidays...not the weather that goes with it but always the holidays! Quicker? You bet they do. I can't believe that October is over!

The weather is kind of nice today~definitely a sweatshirt kind of day but very nice. After the last few days of rain and snowy rain, wind and general yuck...today is great! It is just a shame it won't last but it will be good for the little trick or treaters out tonight.

Thank you again for the beautiful card and warmest thoughts!

To my sweet roommate-she must be as she has the same address as I do. I received your package yesterday but just did not have time to thank you.

I do thank you big time as I have never had the things you sent me. One was a Pot Minder, you put this round disk in a pan when boiling something and it won't over flow. Just what I need since I generally don't catch my boiling food in time.

The other object was a wavy knife. My sister thnks I don't have nice looking veggies!! Which I don't but now with this new knife I should be able to have pretty veggies cut so nice.

I really like what you sent and will use them well especially with the holidays coming up.

I haven't gotten my mail in a few days so not sure when it came , my DGD brought mail in and said box was full. l've been getting ready to do to Dads and my sisters and just didn't get to it.

In the stack was the nicest Halloween card from my dear SS. Thank you Sweet Sister Rose your cards are so special. I will be gone to Dads , leaving the 3rd and will be home on the 14th,so will be gone on my birthday which l got yelled at for by the grands. Told them if l'm not here then l stay the same age -- would be nice but won't work lol. l'm going to be at Zaiahsgrammas for a few days on the way home cause l usually stop there on way to dads but don't get to spend any time with her. So this time l'm gonna stay a few days. We're going to a Amish flea market, should be fun. Then l'll be home the 14th brcause DH has to get back to work.

The recipes you sent in the card are to cute, what a neat way to get the kids to eat before they go trick or treating. trying to decide if l should make The Jack=o-lantern Pizza [so cute ] or the Ghostly Shepards Pie -- either one will be a hit with the kids. My DGD is making a batch of the Candy Corn Cookies now, she loves the recipes you send as much as l do. Don't no what l'm gonna do when she leaves for Air Force in January. Prob cry lol but can't tell her that.

Thank you and have a great holiday - love seeing the kids -they are so cute.
