I don't know where to begin...THANK YOU is not enough to say for the outpouring of kindness, generosity, friendship, support, encouragement, and many other things that escape me at this second.

My swap partner failed to send a swap box to me, which in a nut shell, just plain "stinks".

However, I received some wonderful things from other swappers who stepped in when they found out what had happened.

I can't begin to describe the feelings I had when I opened each and every gift. But I can share with you the wonderful things these fine ladies bestowed upon me so that you can see how overwhelmed I was with emotion; since as our motto states..."It's the search and not the prize that brings the light into our eyes."

I needed a new mug as my Fall one just broke and Halloween Socks, I can never have enough of those! The coffee singles are new to me and I can't wait to try them one chilly night this week while watching TV. And Halloween socks, I can NEVER have enough...did you read somewhere that I wear them to the office, NOT caring what my boss has to say...now I'll have enough to wear for eight days without duplicating (or is it nine, I can't remember for sure).

I LOVE craft shows which are here mainly in the Fall, you are so lucky to have a craft co-op nearby! And I was in need of a new napkin holder as my glass one broke recently and I could not find anything to match my Wizard of Oz salt and pepper shakers and this one will match just fine.

I have not tried the bread yet as I was sick with a sinus infection and just started to get my taste back today -- but plan to have some for breakfast in the morning -- if it's not pumpkin bread, I'll let you know...LOL...as my smell hasn't come back yet, so I'm guessing. The table runner is perfect as I had found some single leaf placemats and nothing to match -- the colors almost match perfectly.

Gooseberry Patch Apples Cookbooklet; the most adorable Autumn Decoration which says, "a time to harvest friendships" (that really is true)

I love the decoration, it looks perfect in my front window, there was an open spot just waiting for it! The apple book is right in season too...can't wait to get some apples now.

I have to say, this was a smelly package to open -- LOL, but in a GREAT way. I couldn't smell or taste much, but when I picked up this package I was able to smell something and it was wonderful. I am planning on having some tea tomorrow, in my new Fall mug. I have not ever had the chance to try Russian Tea but from the smell I am sure it will be wonderful.

I must tell you, after reading the description inside the box, I was way too tempted not to try one ASAP and am I so glad I did..."Moist spiced pumpkin cake, made extra-creamy because the batter is blended with real cream cheese, surrounds a cream cheese filling. I had candy corn kisses for the first time last year that a fellow swapper had sent to me...this year I was trying to remember what kind they were since I was not having any luck looking at the Halloween candy displays and I kept forgetting to check the Hershey's website...well Thank You for the reminder and now I don't need to hunt for them.

This is a simple yet VERY FUN swap…. This is the same card swap that Marcia has done in the past, and I am filling in for this year!!!!

Send a Holiday Card with a recipe (and a note about yourself if you wish} to everyone on the list.
THAT’S IT!!!!
Just be sure to include your BB Name on the card, so everyone knows who sent it

IMPORTANT:
As sign-ups go along, I can better analyze the numbers, so PLEASE sign–up even if you want to limit yourself to sending a certain number… I can always divide up the list to suit your budget. Those who wish to send to all will have that option too. I really want everyone who wants to join to be able to do so, so PLEASE email me if you have any questions or isssues..

Sign ups will start today and end November 7^th.
The list will be sent out the weekend of November 14^th.
Cards should be sent from the day after Thanksgiving, which is Friday November 27^ththru December 18th, so that they are all received before Christmas.

It is very wise to start getting your cards and recipes ready right now.
Stock up on stamps and you will be all ready to address the envelopes when the list goes out!!!

At this moment, there are 32 people signed up for the Ornament Swap and this is where you can talk about your shopping and ask any questions. Most people have said they have no preference, as far as decor goes! That makes it pretty easy for everyone.

Just to start the first question.....when I pass out the partners, it's a surprise to everyone until you get your package. EXCEPT for me. Does anyone mind being my partner? thought I'd ask.

Hi ladies!!!
Names will be assigned AFTER Peg gets confirmation from a few people,,, She had some major issues in the middle of sign-ups, but she is 100% back on track now.

This is her VERY FIRST swap to organize and trust me she is putting her entire heart and soul into it.... We may have to wait until tomorrow for names, but we can still "shop" a bit, just not personalize till we get the name....

I KNOW you are all chomping at the bit to get that name and shop (so am I LOL),,,, but let's give our buddy Peg a break this time....
