I saw this on Food Network Tv this morning. Boy did it look good. She added a scoop of vanilla icecream to the warm cobbler and my mouth started watering. I have copied the recipes and plan to try them soon.

On the show she made these in individual ramikins. They looked to die for.

I've made this several times, and I add a can of cherry pie filling to the recipe. I also find that the cookie dough doesn't always get done if you put it on by spoonful. I slice and bake the cookies, then add them to the top of the cobbler after it is hot.

I've made Karolin's recipe many times and it is great, so easy too.  I do chop the apples a little bit before adding them.  Margielou

I pinched off little pieces of the cookie dough and dropped it over the filling. It browned up beautifully.

Did you add the cherry filling in place of the apple pie filling or in addition to it?

I added the cherry pie filling in addition to the apple. It adds a lot. . plus a teaspoonful of almond extract, if I recall correctly.
