    Brownie Recipe

Looking for a brownie recipe that has a basic box brownie topped with marshmallow cream then topped off with a choco chip, peanut butter, and rice krispies mixture. I had this recipe from a mailing for a Reiman cook book offer and have now lost it. Can anybody help me with this? Thanks any and all of you :)

This sounds very close to what you are looking for. It is from a 1995 issue of TOH

    1 1/2 C. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 C. all-purpose flour
    3 T. baking cocoa
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 C. chopped nuts
    4 C. miniature marshmallows

    TOPPING
    1 1/3 C. chocolate chips (about 8 oz.)
    1 C. peanut butter
    3 T. butter or margarine
    2 C. Rice Krispies cereal

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. beat until fluffy. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts if desired. Spread on a freased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 for 15 - 18 minutes.
Sprinkle marshmallows evenly over hot cake. Return to oven for 2 to 3 minutes. Spread marshmallows evenly with a cold, wt knife. Cool.
For topping, combine chocolate chip, peanut butter, and butter in small bowl. Microwave until melted. Stir to blend. Stir in cereal and spread over cooled cake. Chill. Cut into bars or squares to serve. Enjoy!

1 pkg fudge brownie mix, family size
    1 (10 1/2 oz) pkg mini marshmallows
    1 1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 c creamy peanut butter
    1 T butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c rice krispies

Preheat oven to 350. Grease bottom of 13x9 in baking pan. Prepare and bake brownies according to pkg directions for original recipe. Remove from oven. Sprinkle marshmallows on hot brownies. Return to oven. Bake 3 more minutes. Place chocolate chips and peanut butter in medium saucepan, cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until chips are melted. Add cereal, mix well. Spread mixture over marshmallow layer. Refig until chilled. Cut into bars. Makes about 24 bars.

This one may be closer to what you are looking for.

Thank you AJMOM for the brownie recipe. Very close to the one I was looking for. Instead of melting marshmallows, I use jar mallow cream. This is perfect. Thank You!
