    OT - swivel sweeper

Have you seen the tv ads for this? Looks so easy, especially for hard wood floors. Has anyone tried it?

If you are talking about the Swiffer/Vac, I have one and love it. I have hardwood floors throughout the house. I did find some flannel type rags that I use instead of the Swiffer dust cloths. I just wash them when they are dirty.
They also have the carpet vacuum but I don't have any idea how that works.

If you're talking about the ones that run on a battery, yes, I have 2 - one I keep in the bedroom area and the other for the kitchen. They work great, IMHO, and a friend of mine also got a couple and said they work great for dog hair.

I have the Swivel Sweeper. Walgreens sells them now. Anyway, I LOVE IT! It came with a rechargable battery. My housecleaner thinks it is great too! Works wonders on hard wood floors & vinyl. Only weighs 2 lbs. too!! It reallys picks up dirt you can't even see! No more pushing around & sweeping up for me!! A VERY HANDY Cleaner.

We don't have a Walgreen's YET but they're busy building one so will be fun to find all the things everyone writes about that they carry and aren't available here yet!!! I sure do like my sweepers!!

Sandim - thank you. I will check our Walgreen's. Do you have hardwood floors? Would it be good for the bathroom too, with ceramic tile floors?

Yes I have hardwood in my kitchen & vinyl in the baths. Super easy to clean with this. I use it also on my braided rugs or to quick pick up lint or whatever on the carpeting. Very handy to use. One thing tho, be sure to keep the rollers clear of string, they supply you with a tool to do that, & I damp cloth mine when done useing too, it seems dusty from static, but I got new carpet fuzz to deal with.
