    Beef Pastries

    2c.cubed cooked roast beef(1/4-inch
    pieces),1c.beef gravy,1/2c.diced
    cooked carrots,1/2c.diced cooked onion,1Tbs.chopped fresh parsley,1/4
    tsp.dried thyme,1/2tsp.salt,1/8 to
    1/4 tsp.pepper,pastry for double pie
    (9inches),half and half cream.
    In a bowl,combine the first 9 ingred-
    ients;set aside.On a lightly floured
    surface,roll out 1/4 of the pastry in
    to an 8-in.circle.Moisten edges with
    water;fold dough over filling and
    press the edges with a fork to seal.
    Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
    Repeat with remaining pastry and fill-
    ing.Cut slits in top of each;brush
    with cream.Bake at 450f.FOR 20-25min.
    or until golden brown.Makes 4.
