The trilogy you mentioned starting with The Innocent...I'm interested. What is the author's name?
Also, I read you just started Through A Glass Darkly by Karleen Koen. I read that and also Koen's sequel Now Face To Face. Those books both sit on my favorites shelves in the prominent downstairs bookshelf.
Excellent pieces of creative historical fiction.
"Wine makes daily living easier, less hurried, with fewer tensions and more tolerance." --- Benjamin Franklin
"In Europe we thought of wine as something as healthy and normal as food and also a great giver of happiness and well being and delight. Drinking wine was not a snobbism nor a sign of sophistication nor a cult; it was as natural as eating and to me as necessary." --- Ernest Hemingway, A Moveable Feast.
"I cook with wine; sometimes I even add it to the food." --- W. C. Fields
