I think the squabbles between Simon and Ryan and Simon and Paula are "staged" to get the ratings. If the producers did not want that to happen, they have the power to stop it. I feel they encourage them to fuss and feud, then we all will tune in to see what happens next. Personally, I think the show is strong enough to stand on its on two feet without the fake arguments.
