Here is an old family favorite. It is so easy and so good!
3 lb chicken pieces (uncooked)
1 cup rice (uncooked)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup water
6 slices bacon (uncooked)
3 T parsley flakes
1 t garlic salt
1 T oregano
salt, pepper, paprika
Preheat oven to 300. place bacon in bottom of pyrex. Pour rice over bacon. Salt, pepper and paprika chicken to taste. Mix cream of chicken soup with water and spices and pour over chicken. Put heavy duty foil wrap over the dish and bake for 2 hours. Do not peek!
