    Was wondering if you would make it on here. Have been hanging out to see.

    Another cloudy day here again. Geesh, it sure would be nice to see the sun.

    Have to bake today as I have put it off to long.

    DH will finish the manger & fill it w/ the people today.

    Debbie, have a good day baking. I have to clean house today. This will be a good opportunity. Have a little rest today.
    Bailey, it's only 7:00 a.m. here. So I just got up. Should I go back to bed? LOL. Welcome. You should come on here more often. It seems we have "someone" in common. LOL. Have a great day. It will seem weird without the BB today.

    Good Morning everyone!!!
    I took a good whack at my Christmas shopping yesterday & today it will be laundry, house cleaning, wrapping and cookie baking. We went shopping in the ice yesterday. I SWEAR Iowa winters are changing to ice and freezing rain in place of snow. It was the same way last year. I don't like the snow one bit, but it is better than the darn ice! Hope everyone has a GREAT day planned!!

    Glad to get to chat w/ everyone this morning before they shut the board down.

    Hi Bailey.

    Last evening DH & I went to the Home Depot to look for a light from my brother to my nephew for CHristmas. Instead I found a light for DDs front porch that matches her siding & such. Got it for $7!! It was $49.97 regular price. Then I went to Meijer & got a friend a pair of pjs for 1/2 off & got a pr of boots to wear w/ nice pants for 60% off. Now that was some good deals.

    BJ, I already dusted, we have swept all the floors & I have vacuumed the diningroom. All the animals are fed & watered. Whew!

    No DGD so far.

    I too hate the ice. But get ready for me. It's still snowing here. I'll probably have to go out and snowblow this morning. Ugh. Maybe my neighbor will see me and come to my rescue. LOL. Stay in today and do your wrapping. Have a great day.

    Good morning everyone,

    Getting ready to take dd to church they are going to practice for the play, go to McDonald's and then go caroling. She will have a long day and won't get back until around 5:30.

    My boss/landlord was over here last night and they are giving me half of my rent back so that we have christmas. They know we have been struggling. Only thing ds has asked for is a scope for his rifle and shells and dd wants everything under the sun.

    May get around to getting my tree put up today and maybe decorating it tonight. Need to do my floors first, though. That is an all day job. Might set up my christmas houses this year. The first year in a long time that I have had room.

    Guess I better figure out something for dinner.

    Might not make it on here tomorrow. Have my christmas party to go to and then want to pick up dd's bike that she wants since they won't be with us.

    Isn't it funny that they told us the board would be down today but we still all had to come & check it out!! LOL!! Good thing we did.

    Well I thought I would take a look too...I was up again most of the nite and when I seen it running still around 2am. I wondered..

    Well its still raining here 37 outside. I am still coughing so I will stay where its dry and send DH to the store.

    Hope everone here has a good day. I am missing Mass this am. I figure nobody would want to hear me and I sure wouldnt want to give anyone what I have.

    BJ I hope we get some of your snow for Christmas..

    Reimans is about 6-7 hours from me and I guess on my time..maybe they didnt want to get up early to start???

    It's 7º here right now. I hope you get snow too. So I'll send you mine. I'm not looking forward to going out and snowblowing. DH only showed me how to use the thing day before yesterday. LOL. Hey, maybe if I ask my neighbor how to start it, he'll do it. LOL. Worth a shot.
