Can you still buy 100% bran cereal (made by post)

My have used it forever in my bran muffins.  Recipe calls for both All Bran and 100% Bran, I went to 3 big stores and couldn't find it.  I will try Fiber One as a substitue.  Cross your fingers for me.

Made the muffins, not as good, the Fiber ONe didn't dissolve like the 100% bran cereal.  guess I'll be looking for a new recipe

We still have it here in Maryland.  I eat All Bran and yogurt every morning.  I hope you find it -- I hate it when something I've used for a long time just disappears.

I am in the same boat.  Want to make the bran muffins and cannot find the 100% Bran by Nabisco or Post.  I don't know what kind of substitute I will use.  Some recipes won't stand for that and I think this is one of them.

I bet we have the same recipie.  We have been trying different cereals too.  Today I actually sent Post an e-mail to ask if they still made it.  I will let you know what I find out.   While I was looking I found the nutritional facts, and I think I know why it is so hard to replace that taste.

-wheat bran, sugar, malted barley flour, salt, fig and prune juice concentrates.  (and yes, that is the ENTIRE ingredients list).

If you can find a bran cereal that has about the right consistancy, I think you could add a little prune juice (my mom and I are going to try 1 tbls) to the water you soak the 100% Bran in.  We are hoping it will give it that just right flavor.

If you have any luck with the search, or know of a bran cereal that has the right consistancy, I'd love to know!
